The secrets of the Eye Shade | Beauty Tips

To enhance your iris, intensify your eye or bring light, eye shadow is the ideal product.

Eye shadow is the ideal product.

Again it is necessary to apply the right texture, the right color and use the right tools. To avoid deceiving you in front of a palette with many makeup, follow our guide!

1 - THE TEXTURE

Before attempting a glamorous makeup, choose the texture of your eye shadow, depending on your application habits and the desired rendering.

To create a daily makeup or a makeup for an evening, the most used blush is the compact powder blush. It comes in the form of small individual boxes or in harmony within a palette of makeup. It is perfect to apply with your brushes since it can generally be smoothed easily but can, however, be laid flat on the moving eyelid with the pulp of the finger.

For an intense result, there is the powder free powder or the pure pigments. This mineral shake is more volatile, it requires the application of a primer and can be worn in small touches to bring glare on a matte makeup. Watch out for falls! You may prefer to make up your complexion after the eye makeup in this case.

Finally, the cosmetics market now includes the cream makeup, the best ally of glowy results to wish. Very bright, it is easy to tame with the finger and can offer a powdered finish once dry. It requires a bit of training before being perfectly degraded with a fluffy brush.

2 - THE FINISH

After choosing the texture of your makeup, you need to look at the result you want to achieve.

The matte blushes are the most sophisticated but paradoxically the most natural. However, they remain difficult to work if you do not have the help. The matte powder can leave small traces and do not stand evenly.

Satin blushes are more silky, ideal for a good look and a sharp look. They are easier to work than mats that do not forgive any faults.

The iridescent blushes are composed of micro-nacres that bring dimension to the eye. By returning the light, these shadows compliment all types of eye makeup.

The sparkling makeup has bigger scintillating particles. Less discreet, they are perfect to decorate your makeup party or evening. Be careful with falls, do not forget to apply a base and moisten your brush before applying your glitter!

The metallics make beautiful reflections to bring dimension to the look. They hang the light and promise an ultra rock look!

3 - THE COLOR

As for the foundation, lipstick, blush or tan powder, the eyeshadow is chosen according to your skin tone and sub-tones. The shades of your skin help define the shades that can compliment it by playing on the complementary colors.

To define the sub-shades of your skin, you only need to observe the color of your veins inside the crease of your elbow.

If these are visibly purplish, your complexion is rather cold: to you the shades of rose, mauve, plum or rosewood. You wear silver jewelry and must absolutely avoid any shade of gold, otherwise, you will lose your good looks!

If your veins are rather green, your skin has a sub-shade of warmth: your favorite colors are brown, coral or orange. Wear gold-colored jewelry and abuse red harmonies.

If you can not define the color of your veins, it is because your skin tone is neutral. Be delighted, it simply means that everything goes!
In addition to matching your makeup to your skin color, it is best to choose it so that it compliments the color of your iris. Again, the secret lies in the play of complementary tints.

Green eyes will abuse plum, burgundy, and purple.

The blue eyes will wear orange, brown and any shade of brown.

The brown eyes are particularly highlighted by all the blues.

Finally, do not forget to harmonize the chosen tints in a single makeup by degrading the same camaieu or by playing on the reflections.

4 - SOME EXAMPLES OF LOOKS

Generally speaking, keep in mind that the brightest and brightest colors place in the inner corner to capture the light. The medium color is placed in the center of the moving eyelid while the darkest tint intensifies the outer corner of the eye.

For an everyday look easy to wear or a more worked evening look, the essence remains the application of your eye base. On the tool side, three brushes are enough to create any effect: a flat brush to apply the main color to the mobile eyelid, a brush to blur the contours of the makeup and a beveled brush to angle the brush Upper and lower.

As always, start by applying your facials and work your complexion: foundation or BB cream, concealer, concealer, powder ... The more your flawless complexion, the more it will showcase your makeup. We do not forget to redraw the eyebrows that are an integral part of the look. With a pencil or a powder, fill the spare parts and fix it with a transparent mascara. The eyebrow structures the look and gives character to the face!

Finally, the rule

 # Any successful makeup: blend, blend, blend!

Everyday Look

On a daily basis, the important thing is to show off your eyes subtly, without doing too much. Begin by applying a matte beige shadow on the entire mobile eyelid, using a flat brush. Then place a brown shadow on the orange in the shadow of transition, in the hollow of the eyelid. To do this, use a fluffy brush and make small circular movements up the material. Then apply a darker shadow to an outer corner that you degrade with a pencil brush. Create a small inner corner spot with a white or fleshy iridescent shadow. To bring dimension to the eye, place a black or brown eye pencil in the upper mucosa.

For more intensity, you can draw a line of eyeliner or curl the outline of the eyes with a brown pencil to give the illusion of lashes more provided.

Finish with two layers of mascara, waterproof if the day will belong!

Evening Look

For a sophisticated makeup, you can bet on smoky eyes or cat eyes. The most glamorous is the line of the liner of an intense black coupled with red lips to chew.

To make smoky eyes, apply a flat base with a Kohl or a dark kajal over the entire mobile eyelid. Apply a dark shadow, taking care to place it high up into the hollow. Stretch the material to the outer corner and apply the same color to the lower lashes. With a beveled brush, join the two lines and blend the whole. Think of the internal corner light key to add dimension to the makeup. You can also attach some glitter or light pigments to the center of the eyelid, taking care to moisten your brush beforehand.

Do not forget the black pencil in upper and lower mucosa for a fatal look. Abuse your best mascara volume or your favorite false eyelashes.

Finally, the well-known rule of all beauty addicts remains this: if the eyes are loaded, the mouth remains nude. With an intensely smoky, wear a pink lipstick in discretion or a gloss for a little shine.

Now take out all your palettes and brushes: the eyeshadow has no secrets for you!
