Justin Bieber defends himself from wearing a Penguins sweater

Justin Bieber stands on behalf of all hockey fans who do not share the fanaticism of their peers.

"I support all sports I'll put ANY jersey from ANY pro team if I'm whacked for wearing jerseys they give me out of love then I'm Whack".

The pop artist drew the ire of many supporters after apparently changed his allegiance last Wednesday by publishing on Instagram a picture where he sports a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey.

The young singer told his critics Monday night that the Penguins were going to face the Nashville Predators for the fourth game of this Stanley Cup series in the National Hockey League.

He wrote on Twitter that he would put on the jersey of any team, arguing that if people deemed him out of place for that reason, he accepted this epithet.

Originally from Stratford, some 150 kilometers from the capital, Bieber reiterated his love for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He hammered that he is ready to wear any sweater that is offered to him and that seems " cool " to him.

He also said he does not know enough about sports to have a "valid opinion" on the subject but says he appreciates all the high-level sports appointments.
