7 home care for hair | Without Perfume and Chemicals
Why buy shampoo full of chemicals when you can concoct at home with natural ingredients?
You have probably already heard of people who do not use shampoo but rather a paste of baking soda, rinsed with cider vinegar. It's definitely effective on my hair (cut short and extremely thin) but may be less on thick or long hair.
shampoos
1. A shampoo with cider vinegar and baking soda
This recipe of which I spoke to you is easy and really not expensive.
Put a few teaspoons of baking soda in a bowl. In the shower, add a few drops of water to make a paste to rub on your scalp. Rinse your hair with clear water mixed with a few spoonfuls of cider vinegar, then rinse with clear water. Do not worry, you will not feel the vinegar.

5. A lavender and rosemary care oil
- 2 to 5 drops of essential oil of lavender
- 2 to 5 drops of essential oil of rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil or olive oil
Mix and let rest for a few hours for infusion.
Application possibilities:
1) Put drops of the mixture in your hand to soak your hairbrush. Brush your hair. Store the mixture in a dark place.
2) Heat the oil in the microwave for a few seconds, mix and massage the scalp. Make sure it's not too hot! Wrap with a warm towel and let stand for 45 minutes. Wash and rinse with cold water, avoiding contact with eyes.
This mixture gives better results if left overnight. You can wrap your hair in plastic wrap to increase its effect.
CAUTION: Do not use rosemary or lavender oil if you are pregnant.

Styling water
- 1 lemon (for fine hair) or 1 orange (for dry hair)
- 2 cups distilled water
Mix the fruit (with a zest) and add water. Mix in a saucepan and boil until the mixture has halved. Pour into a strainer to remove the pulp and zest, and put in a spray bottle.
To prolong the life of your styling water, you can add 30 ml of rubbing alcohol.
You can also use an odorless gel-like aloe for your hair.
Bonus: an animal shampoo

Option:
5 to 10 drops of a combination of essential flea oils such as rosemary, lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, spearmint, and lemongrass. Add a drop of each oil or buy a mixture of essential flea oils from a herbalist.
Put all the ingredients in a bottle and shake well before each use. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and avoid the eye area.
CAUTION: Do not use this option on your cat because cats can not digest essential oils and accumulate them in their system, which makes them sick. Dogs are able to digest essential oils without a problem.
